ABOUT STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS Star Wars takes on a dazzling new look in the first-ever animated feature from Lucasfilm Animation – STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS. The galaxy is consumed by the Clone Wars, a massive civil war that has pitted the Separatists and their droid armies against the Republic and its Jedi protectors. To gain an advantage in the ever-escalating conflict, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan learner Ahsoka Tano are sent on a mission with far-reaching consequences, one that brings them face-to-face with notorious crime lord Jabba the Hutt. Meanwhile, on the front lines, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Master Yoda lead the clone forces in a valiant effort to resist the forces of the dark side...
The story takes place in the time period between Episode 2 and 3 and focuses on the young years of Anakin Skywalker, before he has gone over to the dark side to become Darth Vader.
